1. Approach
The App is designed to keep your data on your device wherever possible. This policy sets out what information the App handles, why, and what is shared with third parties.
2. Data stored on your device
The App stores the following only on your device. None of it is sent to the developer's servers.
- Recorded sounds (only around each event, or the whole night) — stored in the app. Deleted when you delete the night. Full-night recordings are deleted automatically after the number of days you choose
- Night records (times, sound types, scores, loudness over the night), transcripts of sleep talking, mood, notes, factor and remedy marks, weight
- Settings (sensitivity, alarm, sleep sounds, display…)
- Files you export (CSV, PDF, audio, video, backups) — only what you share or save yourself
3. Data sent to third parties
The App uses the third-party services below, which may receive the information described.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect the following to serve ads and measure their performance.
- Device identifier (IDFV)
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Approximate location (inferred from IP address)
The App does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). Ads are always requested as non-personalized, so no behavioural targeting is performed across other apps or websites.
Only non-personalized Google AdMob ads (NPA) are shown (a small banner at the bottom and a slot at the bottom of the morning report and trends). The app does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA). The AdMob SDK may collect a device identifier (IDFV), ad interaction and diagnostic information; these are not linked to you or used for tracking. Your recordings and records are never used for advertising.
Google AdMob's privacy policy is available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Services you choose to connect
Sound recognition uses Apple's on-device sound analysis (SoundAnalysis). Recordings are never sent to the developer or to Apple.
Sleep talking is transcribed with Apple's on-device speech recognition (SpeechAnalyzer). Recognition data is downloaded from Apple once for each language you use: up to about 200 MB (up to about 350 MB for some languages, which need about 700 MB of free space). You are asked before the download starts (Wi‑Fi recommended), and it never starts on its own.
On devices with Apple Intelligence, the morning note is written by the on-device model.
The alarm uses iOS AlarmKit; snoring nudges and bedtime reminders use iOS notifications.
Apple Health is used only when you turn it on. The app writes time in bed and reads sleep stages, breathing disturbances and weight; nothing leaves the device.
Backups are saved where you choose (Files, iCloud Drive…). The app never uploads anything to the cloud on its own.
The only other network use is for ads.
4. Personally identifiable information
The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, bank details or card details. If you choose to include information in an email to support, it is used solely to reply to you.
5. Deleting your data
You can remove the data the App holds in the following ways.
- Delete the App from your iPhone — everything stored on the device goes with it
6. Children
The App is rated 4+ and older, and collects no age-related personal information. Children should use the App under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated without notice to reflect changes in law or in the App. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on the support page.
8. Contact
For questions about this policy or requests to delete data, please contact the developer.
