Who it is for and what problem it solves

Expiry tracking apps exist, but typing a date for every item is tedious and many people give up. Barcode-based apps can identify the product but cannot know the date printed on the package in your hand.

Frequently asked questions

Is Tabedoki available now?

No. It is under consideration and not on the App Store. This page describes the plan.

Is there an app that scans expiration dates from a photo and reminds me?

Tabedoki is a planned app that reads the date printed on the package with the camera and reminds you before it expires.

Can it track emergency food and water?

Yes. The plan is to register emergency supplies and remind you before they need rotating.

How is it different from barcode-based apps?

A barcode identifies the product but not the date on your package. Tabedoki reads the printed date itself.

Can it read short formats like 26.10.25 or EXP 10/2026?

Yes, common formats such as two-digit years, month-only dates and EXP labels are planned. Misreads can be corrected on the spot.

Can my family share the list?

The first plan is use on one iPhone. Family sharing will be considered during development.
